“Where to begin?…”

“My wife and I got engaged during the tail end of the pandemic. We were unsure of where we wanted to get married and dealing with COVID wedding backlog, finding a location was increasingly difficult. We searched for months but unfortunately had little to no luck. We eventually decided we were going to build our own venue and get married on the beach in front of our house. Unfamiliar with building a wedding venue (and weddings for that matter) we thought this was going to be easy. WRONG. We crossed the big items off of our list early on, i.e. tents, tables, glassware, flatware, bands, photographers, etc. and in our eyes we were mostly finished with planning. WRONG AGAIN. Fortunately around this time, Shawna came into our lives. Shawna quickly got us caught up on details we would have missed, took over all vendor communication, and coordinated all vendor load in and load out on (this was all on the beach and our wedding was just shy of 300 people). Shawna handled it effortlessly and had our minds at ease. Shawna made the week of our wedding, and most importantly the day of our wedding stress free. Everything was perfect. We truly could not have done it without her.
